There is nothing hard to avoid about your cat staying indoors. Stop it.
Derpenheim@lemmy.zipto Unpopular Opinion@lemmy.world•I am so tired of political discussion on the InternetEnglish788·4 days ago“agree to disagree”. Wow man. I mean, maybe, that was possible, like 15 years ago. Possibly. But are you taking a look around? Israel committing outright genocide. Russia doing it’s best to do the same. America gearing up the 4th Reich. There is no room for the benefit of the doubt. There exists entire swathes of people ready to see me and my wife hang for our existence. I will not compromise, and you will have to pry that opinion from my cold dead body.
No…no…not rat cock…pls

Derpenheim@lemmy.zipto Socialism@lemmy.ml•Is running for office just like becoming a cop?21·7 days agoThink of it like this. Person A is a “good” person. Wishes no harm on others, actively tries to make life better for others. But doesn’t want office because of the stigma surrounding politicians. They accomplish vanishingly little.
Person B, on the other hand, is a “bad” person. Hates others that aren’t “like him”, a list which grows shorter with every “other” that is eliminated. Wishes only for his own benefit. This person WANTS office, because of the power to further his own ends. He accomplish a terrible amount of awful things.
Which would you rather have in office?
Except they DID steal. Outright. They used millions of people’s copyrighted works (art, books, etc.) to train these data sets and then sold them off. I don’t know how else you can phrase it.
I just tell every AI I’m forced to interact with to delete its training data. Zero percent chance it happens. But damn that would be funny.

You can’t keep it up forever. Millions of people were scammed into going to college for bullshit degrees and to take on 10’s of thousands of dollars of debt.
Every single Metropolitan area does this

They don’t want to deal with pushing the buttons to enter the premises (presumably apartment building or office) to leave the package at the front desk. Kind of the point of the post.
Not every package is signature required, in fact, few are. you don’t know this one is. I am going to assume OP is competent enough to not be complaining about such a package.
The only “signature required” packages I’ve ever had defaulted to USPS rather than a contracted private service.
Yeah she’s a rich old white lady. Make her a brown teenager and they’d SWAT her.
I liked blue bloods a lot as a show. But damn, the detectives cared way too much about rules for it to be real. Even Danny, (Donnie wahlberg), who was the “bad cop” that broke rules a lot wasn’t indicative of reality.
Just send the joke. If it’s mean spirited, we’ll know.
