How do you like it?
I have a Q6 that I’m very happy with except it being non-ergo.
You can see the PS/2 connector in the pic.
I really liked my Microsoft Natural Keyboard in the late ’90s.
It was so huge, I ended up learning to mouse with my left hand, so I wouldn’t have to reach so far.
It’s a single point of failure though.
I’d really love it if it would work automatically with many, many music sources (including streaming services like Apple Music) because my listening is all over the place. Plus it would be great if it had a SoundHound/Shazam-like feature to scrobble audio I hear when in public but don’t want to type to search or I’m not sure of the song title.
Great to hear it works with Plex. I hope it also works with Jellyfin.
Every night is still probably overkill. My neighbors’ APs rarely/never change channels.
Using the UniFi WiFiman app on a gigabit fiber connection from my phone to a U6 Long-Range access point (802.11ax, 40 MHz, crowded suburban area, channel scanning each night with auto-select enabled), I’m getting 321 Mbps down and 402 Mbps up.
For anything for which I care about getting the most speed within my network, I use Ethernet.
Not just UK. It’s a stupid term that organizations use in cybersecurity trainings but no one else uses.
If it doesn’t work, make sure to type his first:

What keycapps are those?
I’ve got regular red switches, and the bottoming is more than ten times louder than any noise from the switch.
I got the soft (quiet, but squishy feel) and the hard (not as quiet, but firmer landing) of these: https://www.gloriousgaming.com/products/glorious-mx-o-ring-switch-dampeners both in the “thin” variant (minor reduction in travel). The hard offered me enough noise reduction that it seems to me like it’s as quiet or quieter than a regular keyboard.
I’ve got the Keychron Q6 Wired keyboard and am very satisfied. I use it for work and gaming. It’s way too heavy to transport frequently. Keychron has lighter models.
Also:
Are the browns that loud? Have you considered adding o-rings? Bottoming out in a keystroke can be tougher than the tactile part of the switch.
Best part is when this sucker unscrews from the port and comes off with the cable:
What, like companies selling high quality, reasonably priced parts?
I wrote “for” not “to”
I meant, it’s a religious gesture.
Yeah, the LEDs on my Q6 are the only thing I don’t like about it. I don’t use it in the dark much, but I’ve gotten used to the shine through letters on laptops, so I wish it was the same.
