Seven is an interesting character! I feel like they overused her a little to the detriment of the rest of the cast other than Janeway and the Doctor, but there were definitely some good stories.

I’m in the middle of Voyager too, and I’ve had similar thoughts before! The storytelling, while pretty good, is just not to the same level.

I always enjoyed the Worf and baby interactions on that one too!

Is this image bug potentially causing my inability to upload pictures recently? I can’t give you an exact date that it started, but I know it’s been all this week. I get a request timeout when attaching a picture to a post, and an unhandled redirect when attaching to a comment. I tried on Jerboa and the web version.

That… would have been… a great… loss… for all of us. ;)

I do think Shatner did very good in the role, and although I’ve noticed the more deliberate way he delivered his lines, it never bothered me.

Nice! I’ve wondered how the show would have turned out with Hunter as the lead. There obviously wouldn’t have been movies afterward due to his death, so maybe TNG and the rest of the shows would have never happened. Or maybe he would have been busy with Star Trek and wouldn’t have had time for the movie where the accident happened. Too many what ifs!

Sounds good! I don’t have a lot of experience with plain QEMU, so when you mentioned needing a second mouse I thought maybe it was a bit more complicated to do the passthrough.

The VM is what I’m doing, it works well for the rare times I need to adjust something. Piper works good for everything else. I just use Gnome Boxes for my VM though. It’s pretty easy to pass USB input into it temporarily.

I’ve always liked that they do that too. I feel they do a good job of balancing it out with humor as well, so it’s not oppressive like some shows I’ve seen.

Hmm, it’s been ages since I’ve changed anything, I bought the most recent one a few years ago. I thought I just used Piper, unless I put G Hub on a VM and did it that way. My custom DPI settings are saved to onboard memory, so I haven’t had to change them since initial purchase. I’ll try to remember to check on that sometime I get the chance.

I’ll third the recommendation, the G502 is really great. I’ve got the wired one and two of the wireless, and they all work great with Piper.

I thought it was a fingerprint reader at first glance! I agree that usability could be an issue at that size. Do you think the trackpoint would be much better than a joystick?
