I think it’s quite disgraceful that they chose to censor the crowd reaction on the broadcast. Aside from ruining the live atmosphere for viewers at home, it’s also interfering with the public voting process by pretending the song was more popular than it actually was. A big reaction from the live audience can definitely enhance some of the more memorable moments, at least for me.
They did the same thing last year as well, this time around they’re just more brazen.
