I haven’t used Facebook for years. It does lock you out of things though. Small groups of people like to share photos and such using external hosting, so Facebook, Instagram (these at least you can view a photo, barely, without a login account), etc.
I stopped using Facebook back when Obama was first trying to get elected. It was so toxic even then. I’m sure I’ve missed out on some connections, but I found it was absolutely worth it.
I do wish that we could link to images on Meta’s Facebook though, that would make things easier than having to download and reupload. But… there are other pics on the interwebs.
I quit around the time of his reelection. Nothing but blatant racism and conspiracy theories about how seal team 6 did the Boston Marathon bombing as a false flag
