Glad to be here. Can anyone give me a recommendation of a good VPN for p2p or should I get a vps and run my app from there? I used Vuze and utorrent back in the day and am out of the loop. Just tired of the 10 subscriptions these days and then my show ends up switching to a different provider that I don’t have. Also, I’m boycotting Spotify and have my old iPod back out. Forgot how much I loved that thing!
if you’retech-savvy-: mullvad VPN, and a selfhosted seedbox using qbittorrent or deluge (both are FOSS torrent clients)
if you’re not as tech savvy: protonVPN, (and their app suite with the “unlimited” package, its really good, and a good price for how much you get), plus qbitorrent.
and whatever you do… MAKE SURE TO BIND THE CLIENT TO THE VPN INTERFACE
Piracy and free software helped me immensely from high school to college, and it’s still helping me now in my working life. Really thankful for everyone involved in maintaining GenP and this community!

the admins or devs idk exactly who of the patcher got a c&d from adobe which i mean surprise pikachu but i mean a lot of people rely on them and they rose the price to $90 a month so just what the fuck

I don’t know what GenP is (sounds like a shorting of prison term general population) but welcome to the fediverse all 👋👋🫘
Our tool allows you to download apps directly from Adobe servers using Creative Cloud, then it patches them to remove the trial limitations and any banners/popups saying the apps are unlicensed.
What’s cool is you can keep updating the apps through Creative Cloud and quickly patch them to get the latest version, like a paid customer.
Fancy! Must be some smart people with software disassembly tools and good programming skills. Im jelly.
They are so smart that I don’t have to know what any of that is and still able to use it quickly and easily. :)
