Dubna — and not just a hit, but a direct strike on the Dubna Machine-Building Plant named after N. P. Fedorov (DMZ)

N. P. Fedorov specializes in the development of aviation and missile technology.

JSC “Dubna Machine-Building Plant named after N. P. Fedorov” is also known as the 30th Plant (or “30th Postal Box”).

On August 18, 2008, OJSC “DMZ-Kamov” was renamed to JSC “Dubna Machine-Building Plant named after N. P. Fedorov.”

Former names include:
— OJSC “DMZ-Kamov”;
— Dubna Machine-Building Plant (AOOT “DMZ”);
— Experimental Plant No. 30;
— Plant No. 458;
— Experimental Plant No. 1 (OPZ-1).

Initially, in the 1930s, the plant produced seaplanes. During the war, production was evacuated. Later, the plant manufactured experimental aircraft (including the first MiG-25 prototype) and, under the Raduga Design Bureau, air-to-surface cruise missiles such as the “Moskit” anti-ship missile.

Today, the plant produces aviation equipment including the two-seat aerobatic aircraft Su-29, the multipurpose “Dubna” aircraft, the R-50 amphibious aircraft, and other light aviation models.
