There’s also coming back to work after a week off. It’s like the stress never left.
There’s also the opposite problem, when you can’t sleep because you don’t want to fast forward to all the bullshit you’ll have to get back to tomorrow.
I envy people who can sleep to avoid things. My body’s response to stress is to deprive me of sleep until I fix things. It gets dicey when those things are outside of my control.
