Hi everyone,

Just putting out a quick call — I’m currently looking for a few more moderators to help out here at [email protected].

This space was created for open-minded Christians and seekers who value inclusivity, dialogue, and a faith that makes room for questions, diversity, and growth, as well as give the Users of r/OpenChristian their own space on Lemmy.

It’s been great seeing folks join and engage, but I could really use some extra help keeping things active and welcoming.

Right now, I have one other mod — @[email protected] — who checks in and posts from time to time.

But with everything else I’m moderating across Lemmy.ca, Blahaj, and beyond, I’m starting to get a bit overwhelmed, both with my declining Mental Health, as well as with the stress of it all.

If you’re interested in helping moderate (even lightly), I’d really appreciate it.

Experience isn’t necessary — just a shared spirit of openness and kindness.

Feel free to comment, you’d like to step up!

Peace and blessings, – Teknevra

Thank you. I will have to get in the habit of checking here regularly, feel free to give me a nudge. I’ve added this specific magazine to bookmarks since I’ve not been doing that.

Hi, I wanted to apologize for a terse reply. My battery was almost dead and I was trying to finish up a couple of other things. I do appreciate this community, since my understanding of my faith has changed. Thanks also for Pacrat’s information.

Thank you again. Very best to you, and Christianity isn’t the only valid faith. I would encourage you to explore as many as you’re interested in. No one has a monopoly on higher consciousness, we’re all humans seeing “through a glass, darkly.” I can’t believe in anything not loving, forgiving and long-suffering. Obviously I can’t be sure, but I won’t serve a hateful, exclusive being. The kingdom within says that’s right, for me.
