Granny Goodness, a New God from Apokolips and a servant of Darkseid.

Granny Goodness sort of made her live action film debut in Zack Snyder’s Justice League through computer-generated imagery, modeled after the aunt of Wētā FX artist Jojo Aguilar.

I can only assume, eventually, wherever the new DCU goes, we have to run into Darkseid and his minions. I expect it will take a long time before we actually see any on the big screen, but who knows.

So, who would you cast as Granny Goodness?

    Personally, I’d go with either Helen Mirren or Jamie Lee Curtis.

      Helen Mirren could definitely use a comic redemption after Shazam 2.

      What’s interesting is I think Helen Mirren could play the villain part really well, but I can’t think of “Goodness” roles she’s played. I’m sure she could do it, but no role comes to mind.

      Conversely, I think Jamie Lee Curtis could do the “Goodness” role, but I struggle to see her as a villain. An antagonist, absolutely, but villainous, I’m not sure.
