    This syntax doesn’t work across most clients.

    Try this:

    ::: spoiler I think I got pretty lucky today.
    It's one of the more challenging words I've seen recently.
    :::

    Result:

    I think I got pretty lucky today.

    It’s one of the more challenging words I’ve seen recently.

      Thanks. That’s the syntax I get with my client’s text editor and what shows up when I try to edit the OP. I’m not sure what happened. Maybe it’s just an mbin thing, or maybe I screwed something up. Or maybe I need another line between the spoiler and the code block. I tried that, please let me know if it fixes the problem.

        Hmm… I don’t see any changes on your post. Maybe the edit didn’t federate?

        • It’s odd, I see the improper formatting when I look at the thread from my lemmy.zip alt, but the post is properly formatted when viewed from my moist.catsweat account (mbin). Thanks for pointing that out. Moist.catsweat has been a bit laggy lately, maybe I should start posting from my lemmy.zip alt. Especially since I use the spoiler syntax a lot in this community.
