We were so close to seeing another gaming handheld ship with Linux out of the box that isn't the Steam Deck, but it seems AYANEO with the AYANEO NEXT LITE weren't convinced enough and so they've changed their minds.

    own a computer shop

    patrons love windows, love signing up for a windows account, always clicks share my data, and buys the hell out of HP products

    blame the lack of good education at least here in the US

    No one said they couldnt ship windows, but IMO its kinda scummy that 9 out of 10 brands will force you to buy windows keys over and over every time you get a new device. AyaNeo just joined em, again.
