I still have hope. The end of Half Life Alyx gave a nice setup for the sequel and changed the ending of episode 2 tying the two timelines together
I remember seeing this a couple weeks ago and being absolutely blown away by the production value of it all.
Not to mention everything seen in the “trailer” are original models made by the animator.
