Old days!? Aoe2 is still getting expansions!
It is?! Must look into that. Still my favourite game of all time.
I recently tried Aoe II definitive edition. they managed to massacre the UI so much it hurts my eyes… that alone made me issue a refund also £15 for a 25 year old game. you’d expect it to be better in every aspect at the very least
I’m simping for them but they are hamstrung a bit by the ancient code. They haven’t rewritten it.
Fair criticism though, maybe they should have rebuilt the engine by now.
