Maybe I don’t fully understand how it works behind the scenes, but I’m confused as to how it says “Safe hosting outside the US” but also “Speakeasy runs on the same network as Bluesky” which is hosted in the US.
By any chance do you know if this is simply a forked AppView (as it appears), or aiming to be a distinct Relay & AppView?
I haven’t found much information on this, but considering that their distinguishing feature from Bluesky is Private Posts, I think those would be a necessity.
All good, but as long as there are no pro-Russian, pro-Chinese, pro-Turkish, or pro-Israeli politicians holding high-ranking positions in the EU and Switzerland. Because then Speakeasy will have to provide information to avoid retaliation or suspension.
