They didn’t say they’re okay with their behavior, they said they appreciate promoting Linux, because more people using Linux is a good thing for all Linux users.

Tasteless, immature, edgelord, yes. Actual fascist/Nazi, I don’t think so. I’ve never really watched his content. And I will say this. From what I’ve seen in recent years, he seems to have matured a bit.
Quite frankly, Nazi-adjacent is bad enough, especially when he’s made no effort to own up to the problems he’s caused. It seems like he very deliberately tries to skirt the line of plausible deniability.

Uh oh, brace for the hordes of people complaining that some anticheat game doesn’t work on Linux and therefore the whole thing sucks.
Maybe he doesn’t play any Multiplayer games (anymore) so why should he care. But yeah I also missed that part since some big games could make problems like Fortnite or GTA V MP?
I honestly don’t care about PewDiePie, I care more about his audience. And his audience is bound to expect everything to work if PewDiePie advocates for it, even if he explicitly tells them to temper their expectations. That’s just how gamers are.
