That wasn’t my experience, in fact I played it twice and still loved it. It’s not a game you play to play if that makes sense, it’s more of an interactive movie
It’s the life cycle of tech. New innovative technology gets invented, takes the market by storm, generates millions in value, investors get their hands on it, generates tens of millions, becomes publically traded, corpos inflate its value, bills come due, technology sabotaged to squeeze out any remaining profit, tech become withered husk of its formal self in a space it occupys alone and we get to eat shit salad every time we have to use it
A verbal agreement from a corporation doesn’t mean shit. Unless there is the risk of financial punishment they won’t comply the second it becomes inconvenient
If you tell a company to do something it ALWAYS has to be a thinly veiled threat that you will fuck their wallet if they don’t comply. Otherwise it’s all lip service and does nothing but waste our time
