If you wanna criticize religion’s tendency to advocate cruelty towards queer folks that’s a point worth fighting for, but painting an entire group with the same brush and treating an individual with hostility based on how you perceive others from that demographic is dumb.

I don’t have a need for this sort of community, but if you want a queer theists comm you should try making one. Though there may not be enough folks to sustain it; here on lemmy there often just aren’t enough people to sustain small niche communities because if there aren’t posts, nothing shows up on people’s feed, and people forget the community exists. Which is a challenge since most people just lurk and don’t post.

As an atheist myself I really don’t see why so many people have decided to attack you for your way of relating to the world, unless there’s some context I’m missing. The important thing is that you’re kind, not whether you think there’s a god or not.

There’s one on each platform, and when you follow it it’ll create you a bluesky/mastodon counterpart and send you the link to that bridged account

No, not unless the person whose posts you want to see opted into bridging their account.

If both parties bridge their accounts they can follow eachother, or if one person bridges their account others can follow them.

I don’t think you can see boosts of stuff not on your platform though, and I don’t know how interacting with a bridged account works if both of you are bridged. If only the person you’re following is bridged they definitely won’t see it, but I don’t know if that changes if you’re both bridged

I mean, a lot of cars have a genuinely phenomenal life span, if you don’t mind getting something that isn’t shiny and new you can probably get like a 2012 Toyota or Honda and drive it till the wheels fall off. My dream car is from the 90s and people still generally regard them as fairly reliable

Eventually it’ll be an issue, but that does leave a lot of time for nerds and hackers to find a way to gut networking stuff while telling the car it’s still intact. Dunno if we’ll ever see an open source car OS compatible with the systems in major manufacturer’s vehicles, but privacy workarounds feel like they could be pretty realistic
