  • Still have yet to respond to what I said. You’re looking for someone to blame but refuse to direct that blame at a political party that failed you.

We’re not getting anywhere in this conversation if you just keep ignoring that point and trying to avoid that by trying to appeal to your personal life.

You keep trying to make this about yourself or about me. This is about a failure of politicians you refuse to denounce in favor of critizing some imagined group of people with no power or influence.

  • So you told people to vote Blue no matter who with the full knowledge that you had a privileged position of being able to literally move to another country. Cool. Thanks for your input.

Calling a genocide “look over there”. Wow you’re about as gross of a person as I’d expect for your brain dead takes. Thanks for verifying it.

You also didn’t reply to anything I said. You’re still trying to place collective blame in people making individual decisions to avoid placing blame on a literal political party who’s job is to educate people to get their vote. They failed. Simple as that.

I swear to God. One day I’m gonna meet a “blue maga” democrat when we’re both in one of Trumps death camps and they’ll still be complaining about how leftist didn’t vote hard enough. Meanwhile they’ll have done nothing but say this same thing over and over again during the entire rise of fascism.

THE DEMOCRATS FAILED TO GET THE VOTES. THAT IS A FAILURE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY NOT ANY VOTER BASE.

Holy shit. It’s like people don’t understand how voting works. If there were a lot of people that thought “meh they are the same” then THATS A FAILURE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

People give JS a lot of shit. And I do too. But it’s meant to continue running and not fail like C code would. It’s meant to basically go “yeah, sure I’ll fuck with that” and keep trucking.

So you can always make it do stupid shit when you use it a stupid way.

Is this bad? Maybe. Was it the intention of the language? Absolutely.

Typescript fixes a lot of these headaches. But I feel like JS is doing exactly what it was meant to do. Keep trucking even when the programmer asks it to do stupid shit.

If you’re using JS and don’t understand this then it’s your fault and not the languages fault.

Do we all want to live in a world of typedefs as strict as C and have our webpages crash with the slightest unexpected char input? Probably not.

We don’t notice all the time JS goes “yeah I can fuck with that” and it works perfectly. We only notice the times it does that and it results in something silly.

TLDR: JS does what it was made to do. And because of that it looks absolutely ridiculous sometimes.

  • Found a doctor that was just like “oh yeah. You definitely have ADHD. Let’s get you some meds”

After like 10 years of referrals that I either never went to follow up on or got pushed away from I finally got medicaded.

It literally took luck because I was always just so demotivated by the whole process. They literally make it the most difficult for people with ADHD to actually get to the point of talking to someone. While people that just want Adderall can easily navigate it with their executive function fully functioning.

    It’s rough. Good luck mate.

  • It’s still unclear if the missile was partially intercepted by Israels air defense. I doubt they were aiming for a parking lot. They’ve proven before they have the capability of directly hitting military targets in Israel.

And Israel has also intercepted attacks in the past that have caused civilian areas to be hit instead of their intended military target. The one civilian death from Iran’s attack was a partially intercepted attack if I remember right.

Houthis have a significantly better track record on not killing civilians than Israel does. I’ll wait for more info before passing judgement.

  • I really hope so. I just can’t believe we (humans) have let these ethno supremacist ideas survive in our world for so long.

I just don’t know how you fix societies as broken and sick as Israel has become.

Meanwhile, the historically worst entho supremacist state of Germany uses its own history of genocide as an excuse to support a Jewish Ethnostates genocide. With the rest of the western world nodding it’s head and America leading the way.

The western world has lost all moral credibility it ever pretended to uphold.

  • I hate to be so pessimistic but you don’t align yourself with the empire, fight it’s wars, depend on it for defense and trade, and get free from it. I really wish Canadians and others well. I hope your governments stand against American fascism.

But the pessimist in me just sees the capitalist controlled parties fighting for control before their inevitable slide towards their own form of fascism in alliance with the empire.

I really hope I’m wrong. Other western countries look like utopias compared to America right now. I just think the ruling class of other western countries is using nationalism to fuel its own fascism.

  • I’m impressed it hasn’t become a bloated copilot mess like all other Microsoft products have. It’s still relatively as quick and functional as it’s ever been.

I wouldn’t say it’s perfect. Definitely not. But it’s definitely on the highest end of Microsoft owned products.

Probably because it’s very similar to how it was before they bought it.

I primarily do not use it for development though. So take that with a grain of salt. Some small projects I contribute to still.
