The fact N64 games are behind a subscription is what really irks me. I wouldn’t mind paying €5 for Harvest Moon 64 - the way you could buy retro games on the wii - but having to pay yearly, for a bunch of games (many of which I might not even be interested in) that you can’t play anymore once you stop paying? Fuck that

Hi hi~ just a chill fellow looking for something to scroll through when I’m bored! I’m into art, dogs, videogames, music, anime and a bunch of things!! I hope we can all get along (❁´▽`❁)✲゚ (My name is a reference to the genus lycaon that African wild dogs belong to!)

I see that .it domain 👀 siete italiani? Regardless it looks like a fantastic project, kudos! Especially interested in the static site hosting since right now I use an American service (Porkbun) for my own site, $30/year for 1 gb which is enough for me, but if I could switch to a European host for a similar price I totally would!
Lycaon@lemm.eeto Ask@lemm.ee•Have you ever had or seen an "then everyone clapped" moment?English15·7 days agoSome weeks ago a drunk guy got on the bus and immediately started shouting and being rowdy. The bus driver got up, went up to the guy, sternly told him to get off the bus now - and the guy did lol. There was no clapping outright but everyone praised the bus driver. And for good reason tbh gigachad bus driver
Great!! Whiskey went to the woods and dog park every day for the past week - except today because we ran into a boar in the woods and had to run back lol so no dog park either (as it’s on the other side of the woods). He’s also been sleeping on my mum’s bed every night lately which is very cute! She doesn’t live here but has to stay an extra few weeks due to an injury that needs healing - and Whiskey is very happy about it because he loves his grandma (。・ω・。)ノ♡
What a gorgeous photo!! I love the perspective, makes me want to draw something similar!
For me, what worked best has been smaller sites/communities! Specifically art/roleplay spaces (with the caveat these spaces also have a lot of drama and people who live for said drama) and virtual pet sites somehow lol. But I also feel like people online just aren’t as interested in talking or having actual conversations as much as they used to, so it’s less about looking in specific places and more about just… Getting lucky and finding someone on your same wavelength I suppose.
Gaming can be another way to meet people too. Can’t speak from experience there, but my brother was super involved in the Hearts of Iron IV modding community for years and made friends through it!
What a horrible day to have eyes.
Necessary is one of those I never struggled with somehow! Miscellaneous and mischief, on the other hand…
Well, nature is… What it is lol. Roman seagulls are built different man, wouldn’t be surprised if there’s traces of rat and pigeon in that
I saw them!! The Italian 24 hour news channel had a “chimney cam” next to the regular broadcast and I was way more invested in the seagull family than the smoke lol
Lycaon@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who live in touristic areas, what are the rudest behaviours you've seen among tourists?6·17 days agoI live in Rome so you’d think I’d see more asshole tourists but surprisingly I’ve never seen anyone being outright awful! Maybe all the crazies just go to Venice lol. The ones that irk me the most though, as someone who takes public transit, is people with 0 train/bus manners, stop trying to get on while other people are getting off!! Step the fuck out of the way oh my god some of us are trying to get to work!!
Animal Crossing Wild World! I like New Horizons a lot too, but there’s just something about Wild World that’s cosy in a way no other game has been able to replicate for me
