No, this will only lead people without access to Google Play to be forced to get it from somebody who has modified the app to fake the check.
A lot of those exploit EU rules on open markets to dodge proper local licensing (I’m also from Sweden)
They got funding from Twitter and Jack was on the board for a bit, but he bailed and formally quit (funny enough he bailed because they did more moderation than he wanted)
