Imo the old UI was way less clunky than the new one with the remote. You didn’t need to log into anything, just cast to the screen. EZPZ. The new one, you need to install the app on the Chromecast, log in on the Chromecast, then you can cast n it will work maybe 60% of the time with casting. Casting’s broken, but hey, it’s cool, we have apps and a remote now, just use those. The stupid remote gets lost all the time, which obviously wasn’t an issue before because your phone/ laptop was the remote. Google thought ahead though, and added remote functionality to the home app that also works about 60% of the time.

Tl;dr new Chromecast sucks.

My neighbor had a Saturn, and like literally no one else I knew did. Having said that, it was bad ass, and the graphics were unreal for the time period. Iirc it was out before N64, and had proper 3d graphics. It’s weird that it never succeeded. Was it just super expensive or what?

I bought tickets like 4 months in advance for an event. Like a week before the event, I get an email that they don’t have my seats, and offered tickets a section over. I was actually relieved because prices had dropped, so I just said no thanks, I’ll take a refund, and bought better, cheaper seats.

Fuckin great. I ran out of hotspot like a month ago while working remotely on a road trip. I needed hotspot right then /there, and my phone is on a family plan. Increasing my hotspot data meant I had to do it for the whole family plan and pay almost double the amount on the monthly bill. I thought I outsmarted the system by getting a mint mobile 3 month subscription for like $40 to just use for that trip… Aaaaaand my data’s been breached… Cool…
