I feel like some people in this thread are overlooking the tongue in cheek nature of this humour post and taking it weirdly personally

I actually stopped my subscription to Wired recently because the damn site never recognises me and login does not seem to support autofill or biometrics. Really pissed me off.

Anyway, the gist of this article is the companies are spending money on building AI and sacking people to save that money

100% I did pay for the premium version of Apollo and I absolutely would have paid about £20 a month for access.

It was the #1 most used app on all my devices.
