Well not so much the adress of the AD server.
It should be the domain name of your domain that you have created.
As in [email protected]
The part behind the @ is the domain the user is registered to and even though the AD server might be named prod-ad-001 the text should be the domain you are trying to auth towards and the share you are accessing to should obvioisly have a connection the the AD to forward the credentials and ask if Auth is positive.
In FSTAB:
//192.168.188.52/media /home/shareuser/shared/ cifs vers=3.0,credentials=/home/shareuser/.smbcred,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8 0 0
In .smbcred are the credentials. The content of the file:
username=shareuser
password=shicjwvfiak domain=192.168.188.52

Instead of the IP put the FQDN of your Share holding Server and make sure DNS is properly working.
Nah you dont need a special image for the touchscreen and stuff. Check the advanced update settings for optional downloads and also give the surface app in the microsoft store a shot. It actually is not terrible for troubleshooting.
Other than that: Create your own custom image if you deeply wish to. Here is the help doc:

I don’t know where else you could look but the common E-Book & Audiobook places. So far many Books were not listed in the usual piracy sites. I had to search explicitly for the only Book/Comic/Audio Book related ones.
These sites however have TONS of Material in all kinds of categories. So even if there wouldnt be a “Artbook” Filter, if you look for a reocurring comic, make use of the reocurring name and hit the search with it.
You may have to check what are the best sites for your language though.

If you are only playing the movie on the laptop on a 15" screen, resolution above 1080p doesnt matter all that much for movies. If you are watching it on a large 4k tv - something like over 50" you have to consider the additional storage space, thats needed with the higher quality variant.
I am personally not so much considered with high resolution unless I watch a movie again and again and again. If you probably only watch it once, try out the 1080p version and find out if the quality is high enough for ya or if it is disturbing you.

Just for the sake of testing maybe try it with a oneliner:
sudo mount -t cifs -o user=testuser,domain=testdomain //192.168.1.100/share /mntEither way using the logs is the best way to check for discepancies. Also check in on the logs on the fileserver. Though idk what to advice to trace the logon stuff and trace whats making it fail.
Just for the case that you dont know where to look in windows: eventviewer is the place to go. Which predifined filter though - simply google that.
