3·3 days agoWhen libs like them cry “nuance” it usually means sympathizing with settler-colonialists, billionares and others that are far removed from any uncontrollable circumstances + are well-off in most ways.
When you use their same retort except the framing is that e.g. the genocide is bipartisan (which is literally correct), somehow that’s not “nuanced” enough and that you may be “appealing to one party”.

Who are Hamas, how did they come to be and what are they doing? What did they do on the 7th of October, 2023? Why does a settler-colonialist entity have the right to defend itself in this given context? Does it have the right on other contexts? Does it not, and if not, what does that change? Do you recognize what you are defending by virtue of your hyper-examining of a statement that doesn’t change its meaning even after the hyper-examination?

Why would a settler-colonial entity want to stop another settler-colonial entity from continuing to erase an entire population and exert its influence on the region on top of stealing its resources? It doesn’t because it’s not in its current interest to do so.
