A lot of great points. I suspect metrics on people’s work will only get worse. Like you said, it will justify some awful behavior. Imagine a dummy having access to it as well. Like Musk firing people based off how many lines of code.

If I understand right, it is tracking work software. So work PCs. I had already assumed anything in a work setting can be used against me. It doesn’t make it right, but this won’t change my behavior. I already assume corpo-degeneracy is afoot anytime I touch work-tech.

Looks fun. If I can give any advice, I would avoid comparisons to other games as that also invites unnecessary criticism.

Fleshed out, I would give it a go. There are some public domain creatures you could absorb, like anything Lovecraft.

I have found that some games like this, sometimes I do really well if only because there is such an established way to do things well that my flailing about catches people off guard. Sometimes not following meta is a shock to expectations. I’ll win by sheer incompetence.

Do you know if the DLC is needed to find matches? Do people even use them? Or is it all cosmetic? I too am thinking to come aboard.

I recently stopped using this. I prefer paying for things so I know they will be taken care of, but their price increases came without any improvements to the service for a while. If you are okay with paying though, it’s pretty good.

AntennaPod is free and has worked well for me so far as a replacement. It isn’t as intuitive with its discovery feature, but it works well enough.
