Wer schonmal mit Eurostern gefahren ist, weiß daher dass der Komfort dort ziemlich unterirdisch ist trotz hohen Preisen, weil sie eine recht hohe Packdichte erreichen müssen um überhaupt diese Kosten bezahlen zu können. Und ansonsten hat man auch die ganzen Nervereien wie beim Fliegen, Sicherheitskontrolle, Passkontrolle und rumsitzen in einem Sicherheitsbereich mit Wucherpreisen bis man dann 1-2 Stunden später in den Zug kann.

Das wird sich keiner freiwillig für 8-10h antun. Eine gut getaktete Verbindung mit einem bequemen Zug zum Umstieg wäre vermutlich deutlich attraktiver.

(Ich bin auch nur aus Idealismus Zug gefahren, das ganze Reiseerlebnis mit Eurostern ist leider einfach nur unterirdisch, wenn man nicht direkt von Brüssel/Paris nach London möchte.
