And for anyone who wants to play part 3 read the guide to get it to run smoothly on the gog forum. Believe me, you don’t want to play it without the guide.

I know what you mean, but you still don’t own the game, you have permission to play it, at least as long as the platform lets you or it closes. For now it’s all good, but when the time comes people will loose accounts worth thousands of bucks.

You want to really own your game, not just a license, buy on gog. Not on Steam, not on Epic, not on uplay and whatever else.

Why is everyone so pissed at Ubisoft, they just say what’s practise for years now! And sometimes counter Ubisoft by quoting Gabe Newell, what the fuck? He made not owning games popular!

I got the game for free, and I’ve been playing it since every three months for a few days, just driving around. I bought the sequel, but it sucked.

I never used the multiplayer component, I treated it like a single player game. And now it’s going to vanish? This whole world? They can’t be serious. This isn’t a multiplayer only title, it’s single player with an optional mp stacked upon it. At least put an offline patch out… Assholes!

But that’s the crux with only buying licenses. Or games with always online requirements. I hope fans find a way to crack the online code!!

I tried DLSS for the first time with Control, and it looks weird. Edges and lines are unsharp, sometimes for a second, sometimes longer. It kind of looks off.

I activated it in-game, is there something else I have to do? Am I missing something?

I just bought my first Nvidia card since the TNT2. Up to today I always looked for the most FPS for the money.

This time my focus was on energy efficiency, and the AMD cards suck at the moment. 4070 about 200w, 6800 about 300w. AMD really has to fix that.

Regarding DLSS: I activated it in control, and it looks… off? Edges seem unsharp, not all the time, but often, sometimes only for a second, sometimes longer. I believe it is the only game I have that has support for it, but I’m not impressed.

At OP: Brand loyality is the worst. Neither Nvidia nor AMD like you. Get the best value for your money.

Btw, Nvidia needed an account to let me use their driver. Holy shit, that’s fucked up!

Got it on gog a while ago not expecting much, put 70 hours into it and enjoyed every second! Pure chaos sandbox!
