Does anyone know about the technology that nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers use? Why are they able to operate but we can’t use the same technology on land?

No mention of the Tesla dancing robot yet?
When your compensation is based on profit per car, you make strange decisions like removing winker stalks and quality control.
I believe Mercedes takes responsibility if there is an accident while driving autonomously.
Just to be clear, “Full Self Driving” is the marketing name for the product. You are instructed to keep your hands on the wheel at all times and Tesla accepts no responsibility at all if it screws up (unlike Mercedes, who takes responsibility for their level 3 autonomous driving service).
And for other people who happen to read this, the only reason Tesla may seem ahead with their technology is that they just don’t care about safety. Tesla won’t have a safe product until they actually accept responsibility for their product’s failings.
He died because he didn’t listen to his doctor’s advice. That is somewhat extreme.
I use CX file server. It can create an SFTP connection. I also have a VPN through my router.
Syncthing may be easier if you don’t have a VPN.
A theory I follow is that Musk got hold of some findom customer lists and built his customer base from those. His customers love getting financially fucked by that guy.
Thanks for the clarification and the other information. It’s helpful.
By a backup server, is that an additional component to my proxmox install? Could I back things up to the offsite Synology? I assume it isn’t a separate box on the network?
In what ways is proxmox virtualization more flexible than TrueNas? I thought it was fairly similar for basic things (my use case). I do realize they are built for different purposes, I just don’t need a lot of virtualization.
For some reason I’ve never had luck setting up network shares for Windows on my network. I should really figure that out.
Thanks for the response. I’ll check it the backup server in more detail.
Sorry for the confusion, but everything was working fine, I just had to update the server my pi-hole docker container was hosted on and noticed that I lost access to the internet. It works beautifully when the container is up and running.
How many queries a month do you have? I’m at 15 days and I’m already at 750K. Do you pay for your service? I can do that, just curious what is common.
If you have a pi-hole or other way to block access to your network, I’ve found these useful to block:

I’m not sure if I’m the typical user looking at these reviews, but I want to know about installing other firmware. For example, on Asus, can I install the Merlin firmware. On others, is ddwrt or openwrt available?
Someone mentioned this and it always stuck with me - never trust someone who makes failure collective ("we dug our grave”), but success individual.
"U.S. District Judge Trina Thompson in San Francisco said customers in the proposed class action failed to show either that the alleged problems were “not generally known” when they bought their vehicles, or that they could not predict the costs to keep their vehicles running.
“To be sure, plaintiffs allege that defendant misled them about…how much maintenance its EVs are designed to need and how long that maintenance ought to take,” Thompson wrote. “But nowhere do plaintiffs allege that consumers are in fact unaware of the supposedly supracompetitive prices and exorbitant wait times.”
So, basically, most people know Tesla service is shit, so they should have known what they were getting into when they bought their car?
Any suggestions for current gen routers?
