Anarchists have different goals than communists and use different means/strategies to achieve those goals while using different modes of organization. Just hating capitalism is not enough of a basis to just gloss over those things.

Apart from certain instances when the goals align like antifascist action, international solidarity or support of prisoners, why would working together / doing unity actually be beneficial to achieving anarchist goals?

I would frame it differently. Anarchist organizing is harder than capitalist / centralized socialist organizing. Anarchist still do it because anarchists see it as worth while to try even if it means they might fail more often

I dont like this way of thinking because its the wromg way around. The very popular study believes, that non violent movements needed around 3% active participation to reach their goal. These movements did not set out with this number in mind.

Starting a movement with this specific number in mind will result in shortcuts that the movements in the study did not take.

Its like saying “healthy” people eat lots of vitamins and instead of doing all the stuff these people do/eat, you just take multivitamins and hope to have the same result.

It can work, but its a very one sided approach that leaves out so many other important aspects.

The goal should be taking down Trump before coming for the other party.

It should be, but I dont think that Democrats see it the same way. The party as a whole besides some individual politicians is not a party that is ready or willing to oppose the fascists.

They also have a track record of being useless against Trump. They were in power 4 years, Biden promised to bring the country back together and just failed. There is no need to focus on them when resisting Trumpism.

Doesnt mean they couldnt join the cause, but most likely they will do that when they decide to co-opt it so they can win the next election.

Ich finde schade, dass dein Kommentar hier gefühlt schlechtsmöglichst interpretiert wird. Ich würde auch anzweifeln ob erzwungene Verhaltensänderung wirklich Rücksicht ist.

Aber es geht hier auch gar nicht/ kaum um die individuelle Ebene, sondern um gesamtgesellschaftlich Prozesse. Eine vermeintlich rücksichtsvolle Gesellschaft (hier im Beispiel Dänemark) gestaltet die Verkehrsregeln anders (Tempolimit, Radverkehr, …) als eine vermeintlich weniger rücksichtsvolle Gesellschaft wie DE. Die Prioritäten in der Verkehrspolitik ändern und bspw gefährdete Verkehrsteilnehmys besser schützen wäre zumindest auf gesamtgesellschaftlicher Ebene rücksichtsvoller.

Sweet graffiti etc. is the topic and of course the main focus, but as the mod I would be very disappointed if this turns into a judgy, tag hating and only artsy graffiti approving community.

So for sure, posts should be on topic. Discussions dont have to be on topic all the time, but I would prefer to not have this kind of negativity around parts of graffiti culture.

Are you saying that communities in areas with lots of tags are shitty? Because if thats what you are saying, you are not welcome here and should reevaluate on what basis you call a community shitty.

I dont see the need for such negativity regarding a specific style of graffiti in a community that celebrates graffiti and other forms of vandalism.

To me this person sounds like they have too many big projects at once. I wish them success tho

I feel like all people recommending torrenting here are not really understanding the users of those streaming portals. I use them because I dont want to torrent the newest anime epiaode every week and I dont want any automated torrenting setups, because every mistake/fuck up might result in a 3 to 4 digit fine.

I torrent when it actually makes sense for me (high quality or offline viewing) and stream the rest. I am grateful for all those that provide me with those streaming sites and I regularly recommend them to friends after I install an adblocker for them.

Tbh I think that 2xc should never be opened again after we close it. Instead we could redirect people to other communities that focus on womens issues, perspectives and that succeed in creating a welcoming enviroments for women. Additionally maybe provide helpful links and ressources for those that want to start their own vision of a community that center women. (i would be willing to contribute to that)

I am really happy to leave that name behind, hopefully for good.
