I dont know how to build mobile app, at least not yet. It should work fine on mobile browser tho, it looks good enough on my phone. Did you try opening the page on your phone?
I was thinking about mobile reminders. Before this app I made a same thing under home assistant. I have made automations for android notifications, I also made another automation that sets alarms on Android device every morning. I ended up not using them since built in clock alarms work every time and dont rely on anything. I’m considering that anyway and I might give it a shot soon
Yeah it will be faster, but its extra step before the files get available on HDD.
Even if my HDD is super fast and healthy it would still be a bottleneck for 2Gbps fiber? Ill deffo play with HDD more to find max speeds, wasnt paying attention before because it felt normal to me
Are you also talking about incomplete directory in qbit? Doesnt make it faster afaik, but I might be wrong. I havent tried anything yet, wanted to check is it something usual or not worth at all. Got zero experience with using SSD as catch drive, it just made sense to me
Just google “gluetun + qbittorrent”. There are some examples, but in short you want network_mode: "service:gluetun"
and depends_on: -gluetun
under qbittorrent so it doesnt have connection if gluetun fails.
Gluetun supports a lot of providers, documentation is decent and simple.
But consider airvpn or any other with port forwarding if you want to torrent. Mullvad ditched PF recently 😔
Qbittorrent recommended by most users it feels like. Check arrs mate (sonarr, radarr) if you havent. Thats hot, not torrent client 😉
You also need a kill switch. Kill switch will kill your torrent client network if VPN fails. Your home IP can leak if you have bad kill switch or if you dont have one at all.
Kill switch can be integrated in VPN client or set in torrent client, but probably best to use docker container gluetun and torrent client that runs behind it. Whatever you use check is it good kill switch
Seeding 24/7 for many years on private trackers and never had anything close to that. I used to buy seedbox to fix <1 ratio when I had crappy internet at home. Never seen a tracker that requires ratio higher than 1. Its good to see people contribute tho
Thank you mate. I’m happy to share
