1 year agoPC Port always come late because Japanese studios can’t be bothered to support m&k and pc features. Even a year of porting will result in shitty ports that will need months of additional patching.
Other than that one can buy exclusivity.
Being expensive to produce means there needs to be more units sold. Just because there’s 40 million possible customers, doesn’t mean those have the funds or interest in the game.
It’s either stupid pride or rights. Both pave an option to re-release for new money.
