Slackware is a great, simple OS that does what it does and does it well. There will be some getting used to, but when it clicks, it makes sense and doesn’t do anything you wouldn’t expect. It is great if you want to use containers as it provides you with the stable, simple base to run all your containers on top of.

Those numbers seem really low for a hundred year of shenanigans. I am less concerned by the mountaineers that climbed it alongside Sherpas at one point, and am more poking at the rich dickheads who have created the climb Mt Everest industry where Sherpas make sure everything is safe before the dickhead even wakes up. All just to say they climbed the mountain. So maybe at least use statistics from the current decade.
