This is great, VFX teams at large studios have been under increasing amounts of crunch lately, it’s become indefensibly abusive at this point so I’m glad that theyre getting this done.

I wonder how this compares to Microsoft’s Project Silica. It seems like it is much more dense in terms of data storage, but it also sounds like the data is etched into the surface of the ceramic vs Silica’s data being stored within the glass.
