The helium on board only needs to stay pressurized for the 7 minutes or so it takes before the thrusters are spent, and purged, and that’s why they don’t view it as an issue. But still sounds like fuckass Boeing being ok gambling with lives while NASA shrugs - again.

People have careers in the field and languages common to the industry - this isn’t a “new and groundbreaking” industry - its one of the largest on the planet.

It was to see if the market would bear it, and no other reason - and corporate defenders came out of the woodwork to pretend BILLION dollar corporations need more money. If videogames were too expensive to make, they’d not be spending so much, now would they?

Mathematically, I can see how it would always turn into a risk-reward analysis showing nuking the enemy first is always a winning move that provides safety and security for your new empire.

Things do not exist in a bubble. If gaming can get away with taking your ownership of games, it will come to another industry next. Games are one of the most profitable industries in the world now, as much as people like to treat it as a “thing children do” - it is actively participating in writing the playbooks of other industries. People need to be made aware of the scummy shit the industry has gotten up to without any of the proper regulations to curb it.

I got my fold because I was tired of incremental upgrades that didn’t make my phone feel any different than the last years phone (moved from Pixel 2 to pixel 3 right prices dropped when as pixel 6 launched). Sure it was faster but it didn’t feel any faster than when the old phone was new. The screen was the same size, it felt the same speed, why even spend the money? I wouldn’t pitch that anyone needs a foldable, but by that comparison noone “needs” a $1600 ultra/pro phone when base models are $800-900, but people do anyway. As long as I can afford the upgrade every 3 years, I will get the new one. when the screen finally gives.

This is D&D day. This is Coffee Day. Find a chillax group on a dnd sub and just hang out over discord or in person. Or invite friends/coworkers to the coffee shop. (Even if it means taking off your work shits and sitting bullshitting about shift. It helps decompress!)
