When people use AI for their article, and other people use AI to peer review…
When people use AI for their article, and other people use AI to peer review…
I believe you, this world is so weird… For companies that make tens of billions in profit, saving a million dollars on chips is almost a rounding error compared to the benefit to their reputation when their cars are more secure.
I would have expected an OTP type code to unlock a car… Considering how expensive cars are, this is really cheap to implement. Heck, I could buy a yubikey for €25, and I’m sure if a big company wants to buy a million of them, they can do it for a fraction of that cost… A brand new car costs tens of thousands…, it should’ve been a no brainer to include better security.
The funnier part is that modern AI is better than me at these.
British guy who has gotten famous on YouTube… Pretty all over the place, he made videos about linguistics, computer science, trains, hovercrafts, historical bouncing bridge, and sent garlic bread to space, played a 5000 year old board game, earthquake testing machines, a float-through McDonald’s, Shakespeare, giant centrifuge, and more.
No idea who Matpat is, but I will miss Tom Scott’s stuff… also The Canipa Effect announced he is quitting YouTube after 10 years of producing content.
I wasn’t talking about being sexually active at 6, that’s obviously impossible… I was commenting about the whole “no sex until 18”. You’d have teenager hormones, but it would be really messed up to have an adult in a teens’s body having sex with an actual teen.
Please don’t kill yourself… I don’t know where you’re from, but most countries have a hotline where you can talk to someone who can help you.
Having an adult mind in a teen body and having sex with a real teen is super messed up, and any adult willing to have sex with a child isn’t someone you want to have sex with in the first place.
So unless you would share your unique circumstances with an adult, and they wholeheartedly believe you, it can’t work without being really bad.
While blue is the easy and tempting option, and I would live comfortably without needing to work ever again…
I would choose red. Considering I am approaching 40, and going by family history, I’ll likely get cancer in my 50’s or 60’s… I think choosing red is a good solution to basically get extra 30+ years of life.
Also, with the forenowledge, there is a huge potential for life saving actions. While I don’t think there is much I could do as a kid, it’s worth a shot and I would have time to figure it out.
I’m very glad, the lack of buttons are a safety hazard… Looking at these stupid TESLA cars especially… You can’t even adjust the AC without messing with the touchscreen, which means your eyes are not on the road…
Still not going to own a car, but at least it will be slightly safer by bringing back physical buttons, so hurray for small victories.
Now I feel tempted to make a Dropbox account and fill it with gigabytes of noise data…
I honestly don’t get Elon’s obsession with X. First it was his thing with x.com and PayPal, then it was SpaceX, then he called his son X, then Twitter…
No wonder his wife became his X wife.
Reminds me of this:
