I have a Mid-2012 model running linux, absolutely love the build quality and design despite the age. Performance is perfectly usable, just gets a bit loud doing some tasks
Part of my decision was also based on it being the last repairable model (swappable RAM, full size SSD) and Louis Rossmann having a wealth of repair videos on said model
I think so - last update was released in 2015
I was looking forward to trying re3 but rockstar’s lawyers decided to be a killjoy. There was another mod that joins the GTA3, VC and SA maps together and uses a modified version of SAMP for multiplayer (gta underground IIRC), I believe they got spooked by Rockstar too and pulled the plug
GTA San Andreas with SAMP, although that was yearrrssss ago now. I miss a couple of those servers…
The instances that have been developing custom features (IIRC lemm.ee and a couple others) have been contributing them back into the main Lemmy project, so everyone else ends up eventually getting them.
Edit: I’ve seen a community for instance owners and devs somewhere but don’t remember the name, hopefully someone else remembers
Nope, but looks like the bus shelter manufacturer is advertising their own ad spot
Just how I like it
Shame you need an account now to download the old cursor packs and stuff
Yayyyyy! 😁
@[email protected] I wonder if this thing can bypass intrusive GDPR screens like this site
That looks really nice man, time and effort really paid off with such a nice looking keyboard at the end
I remember this being a problem on GitHub where developers would full on attack NPM packages that requested funding or donations in the installer.
Core-js had a really rough ride with that one, and babel (one of their main users) could not spare any development time to work on it, in the absence of the single maintainer.
It’s kind of disappointing in FOSS circles how some just refuse to acknowledge that devs need to eat - not everyone codes open source software as a side/passion project in spare time.
I think it’s been hit by a bug where a remote mod (mod from another instance) edits the community, causing something related to the federation break
The community isn’t removed, it still exists at https://lemmy.ml/c/[email protected] but not https://lemmy.ml/c/piracy although it’s the same instance
The last time I used Chrome was a fork called Rockmelt 🥴 then moved to Maxthon, then K-Meleon, and settled on Firefox
