Depends where you live, maybe your life is just fine without it
My dad’s bird could sing the theme when I was really small
Adventure time, courage the cowardly dog
Having a basic idea of how a car/engine works. Most people waste so much money on basic repairs they could just do themselves. Feels like majority of folks couldn’t even put on their spare tire. Plus, mechanic is job that less and less people are willing to do over time so the cost of their labour will only keep getting worse
I’ve been there 6 times and I find that theft there is almost non existent. Yes people are still as shitty as they usually are but it’s still a place with a state of trust which is something that constantly draws me back
Obviously would do some vetting though so that’s my specific question here, where are the good people at and how do you know?
Why not? We both own our properties so one benefit to capitalism I guess.
I can’t work remotely there, though, due to tax and liability reasons. And I could only stay as long as tourist visa.
Obviously trust is a big factor here which is specifically why I look towards iceland.
I would trust an icelander with my life in general but that’s a great suggestion.
Also when you are in nature people just keep talking so you never actually get the full experience
My wife would just complain when we went camping but would also complain when i went alone for too many days
Go to kolbotn, he’s easy to find
It’s not him and I actually couldn’t figure out who it is. This is the best I found: https://in.pinterest.com/pin/1068760555323155957/

Me too, maybe its cuz im in canada
We’ve lost the plot if going outside is edgy
Oh really I thought this was that shaman guy who broke into the white house
I’ve been ip banned on reddit for years
I don’t think people here party hard and listen to Bathory
Like I’ve probably spilled more than you guys have drank in your life
My dad has ran an auto repair shop for 40 years and it stopped being any sort of fun like 15 years ago.
That’s not even the biggest problem though. It’s customers and their entitlement. Worse every year.
Parts took longer to ship than promised? Mechanics fault
Car needs to go to the dealer? Mechanics fault
Something plastic piece broke on your car during disassembly because it was designed to break? Mechanics fault
Job supposed to be 10 hours labour but took you 15 because it’s not easy? Guess you just lost money helping someone cuz you have to eat the cost of those 5 hours
