This is what I’m going to have to do as well since my computer isn’t compatible with Win11. The only thing I’m worried about is gaming.

I didn’t realize there would be sex scenes in it. Glad to know before I started watching. I miss the days when it was pretty safe to watch anything. I wish all these producers would realize that some people have families and that we don’t need sex scenes and nudity in everything.
Majora’s Mask is the best Zelda game. However, Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game. The setting, art style, and musical score all combined perfectly to make a game that was both really fun and relaxing. No Zelda game since has ever matched the feeling of sailing to the Great Sea soundtrack.
That is definitely way too invasive. Plugging something on to a Roku TV shouldn’t enable them to show you ads through that other device.
I was actually thinking about getting a Roku once too. Really dodged a bullet.
I’m really bad with this in games. I even hoarded iron back when I still played Minecraft simply because it was a resource I couldn’t infinitely produce.
Cobblestone generator = use only cobblestone tools
The last time I played I turned the enemies completely off but between trains and the beginning of nuclear power, I got so confused I just quit.
I also turned the mountains off as well. I had enough problems trying to keep the conveyor belts straight without having to deal with building around elevation.
I’ve tried to get into Factorio but my research always progresses faster than I can build things inevitably leading me to get lost. Also, the factory ends up getting too messy so I quit the game.
It’s become a game that sits in my library taunting me.
What I find surprising is that this is done by hand. I would have assumed it would be some assembly line process.
I’m holding out as long as I can on Win10 for gaming. It’s my hope that Linux gaming will be compatible with most of my games by the time I have to choose between Win11 and Linux. Last time I checked there were a few games I was interested in that weren’t completely compatible with SteamOS.
I saw a comment on another post by a European explaining American politics to another European.
“Their left is our right, their right is our far right, and their far right are literal flag waving Nazis.”
Another good thing is putting people you follow into lists. I just wish we could do the same with hashtags.
When I first played Morrowind, I was quite surprised when people took offense to me robbing them of all they owned. Now when I play games I’m never sure if theft is a crime or not.
I bought a SteamDeck as a way to test and see what works and what doesn’t on Linux. So far all my games have run with no issues.
I’m likely going to be posting and searching through a lot of Linux forums as Win10 gets closer to EOL.
