  • I like to make banana milk with those really brown bananas. In fact, I let them age just so they are nice and sweet.

I take 1 or 2 bananas, break them in chunks and put them in a measuring cup that holds around 1L, add a bit of vanilla extract, fill with milk to cover banana chunks, blend with a stick blender until smooth, fill milk to the top, blend a bit more just to mix everything, done. Serves one (me) or two (regular) people.

  • Idk it was mostly just funny because of the narrator imo. You do have a bunch of valid questions, but I guess this is more of a piece of art that leaves this up to interpretation. I remember the avhievement you get for not playing the game for 5 years, so I feel like the game was maybe trying to say something about our increasingly digital life and how that narrates our reality or something. There are mamy different endings though, so I’m sure there are plenty of interpretations

Also I think the game was an exercise in what you can do when you choose a video game as the medium for your art. Its the first time where it was possible to let the main character defy the narrator. That would’t really work in a book.

  • Sounds like a weekend that you could have saved if the software was just implemented properly and accepted spaces.

Something being an industry standard does not necessarily mean it’s good. Sometimes it just means it was the cheapest, or sometimes even just because it was used for so long. How long did it take for Torx to somewhat replace philips head screws despite being better in most cases?

I think date strings are made for human and machine readability. Similar to XML or JSON. So, why not improve systems so that we can have more human readable date strings? If you don’t care about human readability and want to make sure there is no confusion with spaces, you can just use epoch timestamps.
